If you are traveling in from out of town, there are three hotels within a mile of the race start at Fidler Pond. This is a great idea so that you can get the edge for the morning!

The  bike course will be marked by noon on Friday, August 17 so you can take a spin on the course and become acquainted.  If you stay in a hotel, you could literally ride or walk your bike over to the transition area to set up on race morning!


Goshen is an incredibly bucolic, fun village! Plenty of small, unique shops, breweries and restaurants.  It’s a close-knit business community that has fostered many entrepreneurs to take the leap and start their own businesses. There is also a fantastic Pumpkinvine bike path that can go all the way to Middlebury (about 40 miles to get there, so make a weekend of it in this charming small college town!

Come in Friday night for packet pick up- check out the course and go to the clinic. Saturday, race hard…have a nap and enjoy a lovely dinner in Goshen. Sunday – maybe a long run or ride on the Pumpkinvine!
